About JERPAT Training & Coaching

JERPAT Training & Coaching is run under the same ownership as JERPAT Virtual Assistants (www.moretime4u.org) and JERPAT Web Designs (www.jerpat.org).   JERPAT Web Designs was established by Jerome and Patty Benton in 1998.  In 2003, Patty established JERPAT Virtual Assistants to run along side of JERPAT Web Designs allowing the company of JERPAT to offer more services.

JERPAT Training & Coaching began it's trial program in 2004, going to a full fledged branch of JERPAT in 2005 with the original group program "Failure is NOT an Option."  For 2 years the JERPAT Training & Coaching program worked to develop additional classes and courses offering them internally to graduates of the "Failure is Not an Option" program.  In 2007, JERPAT Training & Coaching opened it's program to all virtual assistants, offering a well rounded program to develop the WHOLE VA.  The coaches and instructors of JTC believe that to be successful, VAs need to not only develop their business, but themselves as well.  All the coaches of JTC have taken a Pledge of Ethics to provide consistent coaching and instruction for each and every course/session.

About the Coaches

Founding Coach and Program Director-Patty Benton, BA, Certified Life Coach
Patty Benton is the partner and owner of all 3 branches of JERPAT.  She started her career as a teacher, but upon having her first child, she desired to be at home.  After exploring her stay at home career options, Patty felt that the virtual assistance business was the best way to utilize her talents and still be available to her children.  After many struggles and mistakes, Patty gained her first client.  She has since then built a successful business working primarily with coaches and non-profit agencies.

Patty first decided to go into coaching and establish a program that was affordable to all VAs who desired a coach to help establish their practice.  She learned early on that the majority of coaching programs were not affordable to the VA on a tight budget.  All of Patty's knowledge has come from her prior work experience and the trial and error of starting her own business.  Her passion is to help others who have the desire to own their own business, but do not know how to go about getting started.

Patty understands the demands of owning a business, working from home, and raising a family.  She has 2 daughters and 1 son born in 2002, 2005 and 2007 and was blessed with 2 sons in 1998.  They were born in 1991 and 1992.  She has a wonderful husband who works tirelessly beside her to raise their family and run a business.

Support Coach-Dolly Norris Hooker, Certified Life Coach, Christian Life Coach, Relationship Coach, Weight Loss Coach, Coach Trainer

In 2004, Dolly Norris Hooker suddenly found herself unemployed when the company she worked for closed down. Having worked from home since before the birth of her now 6-year-old son, Dolly dreaded the thought of having to look outside the home for work. About this time, Dolly met Patty Benton through an online group for Christian moms, who introduced her to the world of Virtual Assistance. Dolly quickly signed up to become one of JERPAT’s initial coaching students.
 

Dolly enjoyed the program and the experience so much she became an assistant coach for JERPAT’s first group coaching program. She has continued to closely work with both the JERPAT Virtual Assistant team as lead VA and JERPAT Training & Coaching as an assistant coach and more recently as a lead coach. Dolly brings her previous experiences in management and teaching to the program.
 

Dolly also understands the demands of being a business owner and having a family. In addition to their 6-year-old, Dolly and her husband have 2 sons, a daughter and 3 grandchildren.

Support Coach - Lori Clark

For the past 25 years, Lori’s career focus has been providing executive-level administrative and project support to top corporations, consultants, entrepreneurs and small business owners. She holds an Associates Degree in Administrative Assistant/Secretarial Science and has worked within the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and state economic development programs to support entrepreneurs in understanding the resources available to them in creating and sustaining their small businesses. With strong experience in supervisory management, sales, training, business writing and administrative support, Lori began delivering her services to the virtual marketplace in 2001. She is the Founder and Lead Administrator of Clark VA Solutions (www.clarkvasolutions.com).

Support Coach-Paula Dodds
Paula Dodds and her husband Skylar have joined forces to create “P.S. Dodds – Innovative Web & Administrative Services” (www.PSDodds.com) in 2006. They are offering a variety of administrative services, alongside web/graphic design and web hosting packages.   Paula is a graduate of the 9/2005 "Failure is NOT an Option" program.

About the Instructors

Instructor-Jeannette Shackelford After working in Corporate America for 21 years Jeannette decided to start her own business designing websites. She operates her business out of her home which is located in the beautiful mountains of Northern Georgia. JNetCreations Web Design & Consulting has been in business for 7+ years and specializes in working with life coaches and small businesses. Jeannette runs several sites; www.JNetCreations.com and www.webcoachingsolutions.com and www.CoachLoft.com.  She graduated from the "Failure is NOT an Option" program in 4/2006.

Instructor-Althea Francis 
Office Quest (www.officequest.net) was founded in 2001 by Althea Francis (in Ontario, Canada) to assist clients needing to outsource their administrative tasks and to individuals requiring job correspondence tools (such as resume and cover letter, etc.) to help with their career quest/job search.

She has successfully earned her post-graduate in Fundraising & Volunteer Management, a diploma in Accounting & Payroll Admin. and is now certified with the Canadian Payroll Association as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner. Her Human Resources background, combined with a wide range of the latest office productivity software and the JERPAT Training & Coaching, ensure that her clients needs will receive superior attention through effective business support strategies. Althea graduated from the "Failure is NOT an Option" program in 4/2006.  Before that she participated as one of the original individual coaching students of JTC.

Instructor-Tammy Pope

In 1991 Tammy Pope got out of the US Army at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. At that time she started working in the nonprofit sector and has been working with nonprofits since in many capacities. She started out with the local United Way as the administrative assistant. She graduated from the Duke Non-Profit Management course and became the Executive Director of a

local nonprofit that works with the blind and visually impaired.  Tammy Pope now runs Virtual Grant Writer (www.virtualgrantwriter.com).  She was one of the original individual coaching students of JTC.

Instructor - Roxanne Tidmore

Roxanne has worked for such companies as Proctor and Gamble and AT&T. She has an extensive background as an executive administrative assistant. She began her Virtual Assistant career in 2005. She started as an administrative virtual assistant and branched out to become a real estate virtual assistant. She has a strong desire to expand her knowledge of the real estate market and enjoys taking classes to update her skills. She provides services such as Lead Management, Listing, Marketing and Transaction Management. www.EliteREVA.com
